About Me
Hello! I'm Madison. I am a student at Michigan State University pursuing two degrees in Public Relations and Environmental Studies & Sustainability. My passion is collaborating creatively with people to bring us closer to our universal goal: to protect our home and all of those who live on it. My goal is to bridge the gap between human needs and sustainable success in the daily lives of our businesses, workspaces, and communities. Through my public relations coursework in DEI, PR writing, strategic thinking, and case studies, I’ve learned how to craft clear, compelling messages and adapt them for different audiences. These experiences have strengthened my creativity, ethical awareness, and ability to develop strategic campaigns, all of which are essential for building a successful career in public relations.
Environmental Studies & SustainabilityÂ
Through my grant writing, nonprofit management, and environmental research classes, I have created pieces I am proud to share. I’ve developed strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills. These experiences have helped me better understand real-world practices and prepared me to contribute effectively in an internship setting.
Extra Curriculars
My work outside of my classes consists of directing shoots for MSU's student-run magazine, radio-hosting for the WDBM East Lansing Station, and representing Monster Up & Up Festival. Having creative outlets to share my ideas, speak my mind, and collaborate with a variety of my peers helps me nurture my personable attributes and confidence in myself.
